Brian Ainebyona

Brian Ainebyona is a strategic finance leader with extensive experience managing complex financial operations, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards, and partnering with executive and non-executive leadership to guide organisational financial strategy.

He currently serves as Director of Finance, Investment and ICT at Joint Medical Store, where he provides strategic leadership across financial, investment, and ICT activities. Prior to that, he led the accounts function at JMS, ensuring robust financial management, regulatory compliance under IFRS and GAAP, and strategic stewardship to drive efficiency, sustainability, and financial excellence.

Brian's earlier career includes audit and assurance leadership at KPMG in Bermuda, East Africa, and Uganda, where he delivered audits and advisory services for investment banks, asset managers, and other clients in regulated environments. He is also an accredited trainer under the KPMG Africa Facilitators Accreditation Programme. He is focused on stakeholder satisfaction, collaboration, and driving automation in finance.
