Speaker Rebecca Kadaga Visits Doctor's Choice Factory in Jinja

Doctor's Choice hosted Rt. Hon. Rebecca Kadaga, then Speaker of Parliament, at its factory in Jinja during a visit that drew attention to the role of local manufacturing in Uganda's health sector. The post shared after the visit noted that Doctor's Choice is a facility owned by Joint Medical Stores and other stakeholders.

During the visit, the Speaker pledged to push for increased funding for mission health facilities and also called for a stronger campaign against the sale of fake drugs. The visit spotlighted Doctor's Choice as part of the local response to quality health-product availability and trusted distribution systems.

The engagement also underscored the value of local manufacturing platforms that can work alongside mission and public-health institutions to strengthen supply resilience and confidence in the products reaching communities.
